Actionable Email Messages Overview

DeskDirector integrates with Microsoft's Actionable Messages, which allows a user to interact with their tickets directly in Outlook.

Currently, DeskDirector only supports collecting ticket surveys via Actionable Messages.

Configuring Actionable Email Messages

  1. Head to the Actionable Message developer dashboard and submit a new request to Microsoft for approval. The scope of the request should be global, unless you want to test the provider first within a smaller scope.

  2. After the provider is approved, find the provider GUID and copy it
  3. Head to your DeskDirector Admin Portal, then paste the GUID in the input under Emails > Settings > Adaptive Card Provider, then update the settings:
