The Cascading Override approach is used in several aspects of DeskDirector's configuration.
This approach is defined so that any global configuration is overridden by account-level configuration, which itself will be overridden further by contact-level configuration. This enables you to define a specific configuration, fine-tuned to each company or contact that is part of your DeskDirector instance.
